Peer Review Process
The International Journal of Management and Development Studies (IJMDS) follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure a fair, transparent, and unbiased evaluation of all submitted manuscripts.
Submission and Initial Screening
All manuscripts submitted to IJMDS undergo an initial review by the editorial office to verify compliance with the journal’s scope, submission guidelines, formatting standards, and plagiarism policy.
Anonymization of Manuscripts
To maintain the integrity of the double-blind review process, authors must remove all identifying information from the manuscript prior to submission. The editorial team further ensures complete anonymization before forwarding the manuscript for review.
Reviewer Selection
Manuscripts are assigned to expert reviewers with relevant subject knowledge and research experience. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, publication record, and familiarity with the manuscript’s subject area.
Review and Evaluation
Reviewers critically evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Originality and contribution to knowledge
- Research methodology and data analysis
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Ethical standards and academic rigor
- Clarity, structure, and presentation
Reviewer Recommendations
Based on their evaluation, reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:
- Accept
- Accept with Minor Revisions
- Revise and Resubmit (Major Revisions)
- Reject
Editorial Decision and Communication
The editorial team reviews the reviewer recommendations and makes a preliminary decision. All editorial decisions and reviewer comments are communicated to the authors anonymously.
Revision and Re-evaluation
Authors are required to revise the manuscript in accordance with reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation, if necessary.
Final Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board.
Ethics and Confidentiality
All reviewers and editors are required to declare any conflicts of interest and maintain strict confidentiality throughout the review process.
IJMDS encourages constructive feedback from authors and reviewers to continuously enhance the transparency, efficiency, and quality of the peer review process.
