Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the economic development of the Tri-City region, contributing to employment generation, industrial growth, and innovation. However, their growth is often constrained by major infrastructural challenges. This study examines the key infrastructural issues affecting MSMEs, including poor road and transport networks, unreliable electricity supply, inadequate digital connectivity, limited access to industrial parks or business hubs, and insufficient banking and financial facilities. High rental and real estate costs, as well as challenges related to clean water and sanitation, further impede operational efficiency. Using survey data from 132 MSMEs in the Tri-City area, descriptive statistics and factor analysis identified two primary dimensions of infrastructural constraints: core infrastructure and institutional support, and operational and utility-related challenges. The findings underscore the urgent need for government interventions, improved facilities, and targeted policy support to enhance MSME competitiveness, productivity, and sustainable growth in the region.
