Tourism enhances infrastructure, including roads, hospitals, and utilities, in the area. Tourism not only generates jobs but also makes a significant contribution to the state’s GDP. However, over-construction can damage fragile hills and strain water and electricity supplies. This paper is based on a structured questionnaire given to the general public in Himachal Pradesh. This study aims to examine the impacts of tourism on the local community, culture, and economy, while also highlighting the role of public participation in shaping future tourism policies.
