Impact of Tax Planning Measures Adopted: A Study of Salaried Class in Haryana

The aim of this study is to shed light on the positive impact of tax planning measures adopted by the public and private sector salaried class in Haryana. The perceptual study has been conducted on the tax planning measures adopted by the salaried class in Haryana. It is observed that the tax planning measures positively affect a person in terms of planning of their taxes in a great extent. The responses have taken on five-point Likert scale from the private and public salaried class in Haryana. Some positive impacts observed like a fair review of any individual’s financials, positive channelization of the taxable income, reduce the tax liability, individuals’ economic stability, reduces the litigation and efficient utilisation of the available financial resources. This study looks into whether or not the impact of tax planning measures adopted by the Public and Private sector employees is different. It has been demonstrated that tax planning measures have varying impact on different sector of employees. The data collected from the headquarter districts of Haryana has been analysed using the Chi-square test.
