Abstract

This paper focuses on the use of remittance in India since new economic policy 1991 with the two objectives of relation between consumption, remittance and co2 emissions along with use of remittance in rural India. It is observed that household size is positively related to remittance income in India. That means rural urban migration plays a significant role for combating the poverty in rural India.
