Abstract

NEP 2020 highlights the importance of including art education and art integration with the regular subjects. It is highly remarkable to notice the importance and the significant role of art as a mainstream subject. Art education is a subject which uplifts the emotional awareness, critical thinking, creativity, constructive approach, problem solving and experiential learning among the students, all these denominations add up with the better understanding of our Indian Knowledge System (IKS). This paper titled “Holistic Approach of Art Education in the View of NEP 2020” looks into the importance of the inclusion of art education and art integrated learning   and art for art sake in,various disciplines and its positive impact on students.
